GlobalFest 2025 50/50 Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Alberta.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    1 for $5.00; 1000 tickets
    20 for $10.00; 20000 tickets
    60 for $20.00; 132000 tickets
    200 for $50.00; 160000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $49,500.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: August 24, 2025 at 11:59:00 p.m. MDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: August 25, 2025 at 2:00:00 p.m. MDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at GlobalFest Office: 5304 Hubalta Rd SE, 2nd Floor

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://globalfest5050.rafflenexus.com/winners on August 25, 2025.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the GlobalFest.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the GlobalFest or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    GlobalFest does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: john.pham@globalfest.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at john.pham@globalfest.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Why support GlobalFest?

As a not-for-profit organization that originally began as a 5-day international pyro-musical fireworks showcase and multicultural festival, GlobalFest has now grown into a community development agency that actively presents and creates all year long. With the support of all our sponsors, partners, donors and festival goers, etc., we are able to continue our work in making Calgary a more vibrant, progressive, and inclusive community for all its residents.

The proceeds raised will go back into supporting the many community and youth outreach programs that we undertake year-round, such as MySummersJourney YYC, Youth Leaders of Tomorrow (YLOT program), the Human Rights Forum and OneWorld Cultural Programming. Now more than ever, these opportunities are important for creative meaningful dialogue and shared understanding throughout our communities.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting July 14 to August 25. If you are attending GlobalFest 2025 at Elliston Park, we will be selling tickets, live, in-person, at our event on the following dates:
